Attention all DDN Las Vegas drivers: 
You are an Independent Contractor using a web based technology (Drive Eatzy) that connects you with restaurants, online delivery platforms and customers to alert you with delivery opportunities. You are now connected to various online ordering platforms directly integrated with major brands such as Denny’s, Capriotti’s, Buca di Beppo, Benihana and many more. All orders are placed directly at the restaurants with no third party involved.

FAQ – Las Vegas

You are an Independent Contractor using a web based technology (Drive Eatzy) that connects you with restaurants, online delivery platforms and customers to alert you with delivery opportunities. You are now connected to various online ordering platforms directly integrated with major brands such as Denny's, Capriotti's, Buca di Beppo, Benihana and many more. All orders are placed directly at the restaurants with no third party involved.
As an IC, you must own or rent ALL equipment necessary to perform delivery services including but not limited to: Vehicle, delivery bags, smart phone, GPS device. Please see signed IC agreement for further details. Delivery bags are available for purchase thru DDN (must electronically sign delivery bag waiver). Please request a bag if needed thru [email protected] You must also download the Drive Eatzy driver app on the Apple Store or Play Store. You are required to use the app as instructed in the orientation video.
Fee Schedule: For each successful delivery, DDN Las Vegas drivers retain 100% of tips. 11.5% of the delivery fee (delivery fee varies based on demand/distance from restaurant to customer) will be paid to DDN, plus $0.25 per delivery fee for insurance and payment processing. Example: $5.99 delivery fee: 11.5% of $5.99 = $0.69. $0.69 + $0.25 = $0.94. $5.99 - $0.94 = Driver makes $5.06 $7.99 delivery fee: 11.5% of $7.99 = $0.92. $0.92 + $0.25 = $1.17. $7.99 - $1.17 = Driver makes $6.82 If on order has a $5.99 delivery fee plus $10 in the Gratuity column of your app, your total is $5.06 + $10 = $15.06
DDN is currently paying thru Paypal (as of 12/2017, subject to change). Please send your PayPal email address to [email protected] if you have not done so already. Payments are made every Tuesday by 5pm Eastern Standard Time for any shifts worked the previous week (previous Monday thru Sunday).
There is high demand all over the city with the highest concentration of orders in the Strip area. Orders are distributed to drivers based on their geographical location. You can elect to sign up for different areas of the city thru WhenIWork and orders will be assigned to you within your preferred delivery area, however orders outside this area may still be sent to your app contingent on volume and demand.
Drivers should accept the order right away and contact restaurant to give them an ETA. This should reduce problems with orders not being prepped until driver walks in the door, and to prevent cancellations for orders that are running late but have a driver almost at the restaurant.
Update your status to At Restaurant, give restaurant the reference number (not the 6 digit Eatzy number, the longer number next to the Eatzy number) and identify to them you are here to pickup a to go/delivery order. Pro Tip: We recommend giving customer a call thru your app at this point, to let them know you are at the restaurant and how long it will be before you are at their drop off, ask for any specifics on parking or where to meet when you get to drop off at this point as it could save you time when you get there. It is good to have this knowledge in advance, especially if you are unfamiliar with the drop off location or customer hasn’t provided notes to help you on the order. It also puts the customers mind at rest that their food is on its way and may result in bigger and better tips for you. Check your food items when you receive the order to ensure you have everything and update your driver app to “En Route”.
Some gratuities are prepaid on the app. Other customers will elect to give a cash gratuity on delivery. Please communicate with the shift leader on orders where you do not receive a gratuity from the customer so we can make our best effort to resolve the issue.
Drivers can directly message dispatch thru the driver app using the message function on the app. Messages sent externally from the app via text will not reach dispatch, it is important to message thru the app itself to ensure you reach dispatch directly.
